JUST Implements Project to Strengthen Editorial and Publishing Processes
The Journal of Science and Technology (JUST), KNUST, implemented the “Towards a More Robust Editorial and Publishing Process of JUST” project with support from EIFL and the Wellcome Trust. The 11-month project (December 2025–October 2026) received US$18,000 in funding.
The project focused on strengthening JUST’s editorial and publishing systems, building stakeholder capacity, improving visibility, and supporting the adoption of international publishing standards. Key activities included the OJS upgrade, digital preservation, proofreading and copyediting, capacity-building workshops, strategic planning and efforts towards international indexing.

The project was implemented with support from KNUST through the University Information Technology Systems (UITS), the KNUST University Library, and the JUST Editorial Committee.
