JUST Trains Journal Managers, Editors and Peer Reviewers at KNUST

As part of the EIFL/Wellcome-funded project, “Towards a More Robust Editorial and Publishing Process of the Journal of Science and Technology (JUST),” the Journal of Science and Technology (JUST), KNUST, organised two capacity-building workshops to strengthen scholarly publishing at the University.

The first workshop brought together over 40 journal managers and editors from KNUST journals and focused on effective journal management and the use of the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The second workshop focused on peer-review practices and involved close to 150 reviewers from KNUST and other institutions.

The workshops also provided opportunities for participants to share experiences, discuss common publishing challenges and promote collaboration across journals and institutions.
